One of the love/hate developers in recent time was present at E3 this year. EA, the team that brings us Star Wars Battlefront, Battlefield and the Fifa franchise among others.
So let’s have a look at what was announced and see what is new.
Star Wars Battlefront 2
This was announced before E3 but more details were released, the major missing ingredient in the next gen version of Battlefront was a single player campaign and maps on release. although more maps were released after a few quarters. The initial release was pretty stale.
The story follows on after Return of the Jedi (Episode 6) and before the recent Force Awakens (Episode 7)
The online aspect of the game is similar to its predecessor but this time you have the ability to control more!
“Go back to episode one, you can”
In the below trailer you can see Yoda, Darth Maul, Kylo Ren and Rey used in battle as with the original droids and the clone army before they became the Empires stormtroopers.
Even the maps are new and old which to me is awesome and if played on the new Xbox One X the beauty of 4K in the star wars universe would truly be awesome.
